ON MEDICAL HOLD.   Lilly is a sweet, older girl (estimated 10-12 yrs) that was picked up as a stray in southern, Kansas.  While at the shelter, she tested HW+ and was transferred to us for the potentially complicated and expensive treatment.  She is currently in the process of treatment that will not be complete until mid June, 2019.  While we tried wholeheartedly to find her possible family, we were unsuccessful.  She is a delightfully happy girl in her foster home with other shelties. Heartworm treatment schedule:

Treatment (injection 1) April 17 (doing well)
Treatment (injection 2) May 17
Treatment (injection 3) May 18
Re-test  June 13

Based on re-test outcome, Lilly will be available for adoption .
