JULEE is a beautiful, 20#,  sable merle female sheltie (6 yrs of age) that was released from a commercial breeder and came into rescue in a motherly way.  She whelped a beautiful litter of six puppies (not taking applications for the puppies) that will be weaned and ready for homes  the end of February.  Julee will then be allowed a month to recover from raising her puppies before being vetted and ready to be adopted in early April.   Typical of retired breeding dogs, she is scared of strangers but loves to be caressed and talked sweetly to by her foster mom.  Her favorite spot is next to her foster mom on the couch or in her lap.  Will continue with house and leash training during the next couple months before she's ready for her forever home.   She will do best in a home with sheltie experience, breeder dog rehab  experience and  another friendly/confident/hopefully playful sheltie.  As with all our dogs, a s ecurely fenced yard mandatory.
