BETHANY is the newest little lady to join our rescue family.  She's a pretty (5ish year old), 24# (could stand to lose a few pounds) dark sable sheltie.  While initially shy of strangers, she is following the lead of the other resident shelties and opening up well to humans more each day.  Bethany is a really happy girl and walks relatively well on a leash.  While her past of being a housedog is unknown and really doubtful, we have had no housetraining issues to date.  Bethany has shown some tendencies of being a bit of an alpha girl, so she will not be a good choice for a family that has another alpha personality (canine, that is) in their family. She would be suitable for a family with other furkids or as a only dog if she isn't left alone for long hours of the day.
