Jake is a small 1.5 yr old neutered male sheltie.  Jake came from a breeding situation. He's shy and learning what it is like to be a household pet; therefore, he will not be available for adoption until he has had time to settle into a normal routine and we know more about his needs.  House training has been a slow process and we continue working on it (a stay at home parent will be best to continue this effort).  Another confident fursibling (preferably a sheltie) is often key to rehabilitation of commercial breeder dogs.  Jake likes playing with his foster sheltie brothers and loves the cat that also loves him. 

Applications will be held and taken into consideration when he is available.
