Max is here and has been to the Vet to be checked out. For a senior boy, he checked out splendidly, aside for some arthritis in his hips that makes it a slower process to get up. His lab work was good, he was heart worm negative, given all his vaccinations and now taking a daily supplement for joint relief. He started out at 44 pounds, although a larger body frame.  It's possible that he may have lost a bit of weight already with the extra walks and exercise he is getting. 

NOW......all this abandoned ole boy needs is a nice cool/warm place to take his naps, get some much desired tush rubs, treats and his regularly scheduled meals..........and some kind words of affection.  Do you have room to add Max to your family?

Max was abandoned with a household of pets when his former owner was incarcinated.  He'll be vetted and evaluated upon arrival. We have been told by the group of animal lovers now caring for him that he's a happy boy, looking forward to his daily walk, treats and attention.  He's certainly a handsome boy, so we hope he gets a clean bill of health an a wonderful adopter as soon as possible.
