MOJO is just the right size for a loveable lapful. He's a gorgeous 17# neutered
Unfortunately, we were asked to help him when he tested HW+ at the shelter he was surrendered to.
Anyone that watches our site, knows we do not turn away a sick or old dog.......so, he's here. He's been successfully treated and will have no outward affects from his treatment. Mojo was left outside too long (3 yrs) and he's ready to be a pampered 18#, beautiful red sable house pet.
UPDATE: Mojo has been successfully treated for his heartworms and now neutered and had a dental as well. He's anxious to be adopted. He's a silly boy and has really won all our hearts as we've earned his trust. His new companion or family will need to expect to spend a bit of time doing so too; however, once you do, you'll truly enjoy his fun personality. We'd prefer he have a fursibling companion as we think it would be easier for him to settle into a new lifestyle with another dog; however, if you are a person that will be home the better part of the day and offer him the opportunity to have play dates with other dogs on occasions, this situation would most likely work well too.

PROCESS OF ADOPTION:
After we have had time to review your application and check references, we will be back in touch with you. This is a totally volunteer organization; therefore please allow at least 48 hours for us to get back with you. If at that time you have NOT gotten a reply, please e-mail us as your application may not have arrived. (ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED, WHETHER APPROVED OR NOT.)
After your submitted application has been processed, references checked and approved, a HOME VISIT will be scheduled after which time arrangements will then be discussed regarding meeting your potential new family member.
Adoption fees range from $150-$275, based on the age/adoptability of each specific dog. HOWEVER, please inquire about our SENIOR SANCTUARY PROGRAM if you are open to adopting a dog in double digit years. We believe these SPECIAL individuals and families deserve even more consideration/support and we make every effort to make these adoptions a WIN WIN for both our DOG and POTENTIAL FAMILY.
