UPDATE:   Chloe is doing well with her heartworm treatment.  Even better, she has enjoyed becoming a part of a household, resting on soft and puffy beds, eating yummy and carefully measured meals and being cuddled by her foster mom while relaxing in the recliner or resting side by side on the couch... even if she does have to take turns with all the other furkids.

Chloe came into rescue with her 7 year old collie friend Patrick. She is a tad pudgy now, but that is the least of our concerns right now. Both she and Patrick lived outside full time at their past home without preventatives and ultimately are both HW positive. (PLZ FOLKS, IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE NEEDS OF YOUR PETS, DO NOT GET ONE).

Chloe is a very pretty sable merle girl and besides being in treatment for her HW condition, will be learning to walk on leash and lots of lap loving.
