Tucker is a 1 yr old tricolor CHW (color headed white) male collie pup, about 65#s.  He loves to snuggle but also and has lots of energy and a need to get plenty of exercise (plays fetch & tug) and will benefit from obedience training.  He has learned to ask when he wants to go outside (sometimes for a potty break. other times to just play). He is  completely vetted (including MDR1 normal/normal) and ready to join an age appropriate family.  We do not want to take the chance that he will outlive or be too large for his elderly owners to manage his care, thus needing to be re-homed again.  

In his previous home, while much younger, he was hard on the 2 cats in the home, so a new home without cats is a wise decision as there are no cats in his foster home to work with.  He has adjusted well to playing with smaller dogs in his foster home; however, he'd probably prefer a home with a like size dog willing to rough house with him on occasion.  He reads animal body language well and does not have an aggressive bone in his body.  

Tucker would not be happy being left alone all day while his owner is away at work.   A SECURELY FENCED YARD IS MANDATORY.  We do not ship or transport our dogs; therefore, must be within driving distance for entire family (including current dogs) to come meet for compatibility and complete adoption.   His "ONLY" negative quirk is that he still gets car sick traveling.
